DIAMOND WIRES FOR QUARRY APPLICATIONS

The layout of a quarry varies continuously and not always the implementation of automated cutting technologies is  a possible choice or  is economically convenient. The technical nature of a quarry cut therefore requires the use of very fast and reliable diamond wires. For this purpose Mega Diamant uses a combination of optimal high-performance diamond, high quality wire rope and metallic binders particularly suitable to ensure  the customer continuity and high level performance.

STATIONARY MACHINE WIRES

The introduction of stationary machines to square blocks has also encouraged the development and use of diamond wire in factories. This new tool, due to the reduction in size  of the beads, the improvement of the binders and a better  plastic injection technology, is  becoming more and more efficient and cost-competitive with respect to conventional cutting processes.

MULTI WIRE MACHINE

The wide spread use of stationary machines has led to the development of a new generation of diamond  wire machines:  The multi-wire machine. The ability to process an entire block at one time offers significant advantages in productivity and cost reduction. Mega Diamant offers its clients single use plastic injected 7.3mm  and  6.3mm   sharpened  sintered diamond wires.

DIAMOND WIRE FOR CONTOUR AND PROFILING

The  closed loop spliced junction allows the application of a greater working force  to the cutting wire so as to  improve  its accuracy.  The low cost and the quality of profiling by diamond wire allow  the recovery and  use of materials   unsuitable  for the production of slabs.
